THE BOOKING PROCESS

STEP 1: GETTING IN TOUCH


Once you send me a message via the Contact Page, email or social media, I will get back to you within 24–48 hours.

We will have a friendly chat to discuss what you are looking for, answer any questions you may have, and find out a little more about your vision. Whether you know exactly what you want or you need some guidance and inspiration – I am here to listen and help shape your ideas into reality.


*Top Tip: If you are expecting your little one, please get in touch during your pregnancy (ideally in your second or third trimester). This ensures I can reserve a space for you, as my calendar fills up quickly!

 

STEP 2: RESERVING YOUR DATE

 

Once you are happy and ready to proceed, securing your session is simple.To confirm your booking, we will sign a simple agreement and a small retainer fee is required. This secures your dedicated time in my diary and covers all the planning and preparation I do for your session.

Your booking covers:

  • Pre-session consultation and planning
  • Access to my full range of premium props, wraps, backdrops and outfits
  • Use of my warm, safe and fully equipped studio
  • My time, skill and creative expertise during your session
  • Professional editing and retouching of your images

STEP 3: PLANNING & PREPARATION

Once booked, we don’t just leave it there! I will send you my detailed Welcome & Preparation Guide, packed full of helpful information including:

  • How to prepare your baby for the best possible session
  • What to bring with you
  • Wardrobe ideas and colour palette suggestions
  • Safety information and how I handle and pose newborns
  • Answers to all those little questions you might not have thought to ask yet!

We will stay in touch as your due date approaches, and once your baby arrives, you simply send me a quick message – and we will agree on the perfect date for your shoot within the first 7–14 days (the magical sleepy phase).

STEP 4: YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

The day you’ve been waiting for!When you arrive at the studio, you can leave the hard work to me. My studio is designed to be a calm, warm, and peaceful haven – exactly what you and your new family need. Remember we deliver the same service if you choose to have it in your own home.


Newborn sessions are completely unrushed, typically lasting between 2 – 4 hours. This gives us plenty of time for feeding, soothing, cuddles and little breaks whenever needed. There is absolutely no pressure, and we go at your baby’s pace.


I will guide you through every pose and setup, working my creative magic while you sit back, relax, and enjoy watching your little one being cared for. If you have a specific vision or special meaning behind certain colours or props – we will make sure it happens!

STEP 5: VIEWING & CHOOSING YOUR IMAGES

About 10–14 days after your session, the magic happens!

I carefully hand-edit every single image from your session, ensuring every detail is perfect, the skin tones are soft and natural, and the emotion shines through.

You will receive a private online gallery – beautifully presented and easy to use – where you can view your whole collection of images from the comfort of your own home. You can share this gallery easily with friends and family too!

We will then work together to choose your favourite images and decide how you would like them brought to life – whether that be as digital files, fine art prints, luxurious wall art or elegant keepsake albums.

 

STEP 6: Your beautiful  Kit arrives

Once you have made your selection, I place your order with my professional, premium print lab. All my products are carefully chosen for their quality and timeless style, designed to last for generations.

Your finished products are usually ready within 3 – 4 weeks. You will be notified as soon as they arrive, and you can either collect them from the studio or have them carefully packaged and delivered straight to your door.
